"I am a music business expert providing the music industry services in digital design, promotional marketing, and personal branding"
Growing up, music became the first thing that Nya woke up to and the last thing she heard at night. It was a melting pot of caribbean, r&b, pop and world music as her parents immigrated from Haiti. Like most children, Nya's first dream was to be a singer so she joined church choirs and was in a band for a while (which she will deny if asked) but soon Nya was introduced to the world of theater and did not look back. Her original dream shifted to being on the stage and she was part of multiple productions throughout middle and high school. Her favorites being Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Sister Act, and Once On This Island.
It was during her senior year that all of Nya's childhood dreams came into perspective. When asked the million-dollar question "what do you want to do with your life" Nya was stumped. All her life she thought about different aspects of the industry, live performance & creating music, but she could no longer see herself pursuing either. Nya shifted her focus to being behind the scenes. She realized the way to be involved in the process of creating art and shows was to educate herself about the business of it all. After earning her Music Business degree from Full Sail University, Nya is eager to do just that.
